Cargo release rules
The rules of cargo release depend on bill of lading type: 1. Nominal. Consignee indicates actual company. Cargo release is possible if one of the following conditions is done:

And only shipper can allow agent in the country of origin to make some corrections to bill of lading, including consignee substitution. If consignee is substituted, bill of lading should be reissued. If there are no any changes, bill of lading is added with correction letter without making changes in b/l itself. Exceptions are possible. Among b/l consignee should present letter of attorney for delivery and cargo receipt in favor of freight forwarding company, which will prepare all port documentation and inland delivery. |
